Best Baby Lounger – DockATot

3:30 am Blog Post, Mom Life, Review

Have you ever come across a product and said, “I wish I knew about this when I had my first child”? Being a mother of two, I find myself saying that a lot. There’s one product that I have kept my eyes on it ever since I heard about it. It’s a “DockATot.” I found out about this product two years ago, when my oldest son turned four. I know, I’m late. I immediately put it on my “mommy must have list” for my second born. Even though at that time I wasn’t pregnant.

So, I received my DockATot a month ago and I love it. I’m happy I kept this item on my must have list. As soon as I opened the box and my second son saw the DockATot, he laid down on it. He didn’t want to get up and that night he slept so much longer and peacefully. I was able to get a lot of things done around the house. It’s always good when you find a product that’s safe and benefits your children. I want the best for my children. Don’t you? Of course, you do.

What is a DockATot?

DockATot is a multi-functional product founded by Lisa Furuland. It can be used for activities such as tummy time, lounging, resting, sleeping, or cuddling and so much more. It’s all-natural, 100% cotton, and can be used for numerous activities. Dockatot is available in two sizes (Deluxe for 0-8 Months, Grand 9-36 months). It’s Oeko-Tex certified. It guarantees that their products are safe and gentle on children’s skin. You can learn more about this certification here

DockATot is one of those products that runs out quickly. So, when it’s available to order you run and place that order! Like the way you run to the store to make sure you don’t miss that Black Friday deal. Yes, it’s that serious!

Dockatot Benefits

· It’s portable and easy to wash
· Helps with co-sleeping
· Helps babies to sleep longer
· It helps with crib to bed transition
· It helps babies to feel safe

These are benefits that personally helped me. There are so many more benefits that Dockatot has that can help you and your baby. One thing I regarded is allowing my oldest to sleep in my room until he was four years old. Yeah, we spent a lot of time bonding but now he’s afraid to sleep in his room by himself. The second time around, I told myself I’m not making that mistake. I love to co-sleep with my second born. It helps me to co-sleep and hug my sweet baby boy while he’s sleeping.

I highly recommend DockATot. Transiting my second born is an important stage. I’m sure that stage is important to you too. That’s why I love DockAtot. They’re making this transition a piece of cake. The dock is worth every penny and is a great investment. Also, they do have coupons sometimes and offer free shipping for orders over $99. Check out their amazing collection here

Happy 11th wedding anniversary to us! 💍 5 thing Happy 11th wedding anniversary to us! 💍
5 things that we’ve learned:

- As we get older, we change. It’s up to both of us to adjust to the change and be willing to accept the change. Change isn’t always bad. Change is good for growth!

- There will be times when we can’t stand each other. It’s up to us to work through the situations and move on. Life is too short to be mad at the person you love. Sometimes it’s the pettiest thing that makes us can’t stand our partners, but marriage is a partnership. It will work if both of you want it to.

- Never go to bed angry! That’s the worst because what usually happens is the situations continue to pile up. Think of it as a balloon. When you blow into the balloon, the balloon gets bigger and bigger to the point that it may pop. That’s the same thing when we’re angry with our partner. When you go to bed angry, you allow the anger to continue to build up. Then the situation explodes and it could’ve been resolved if you would’ve talked about it that night before it got worst.

- If you fall out of love, work on falling back into love if you want your marriage to work. This is a team commitment. Sometimes we fall out of love if our partner. They may stop complimenting us. Sometimes you may feel unappreciated and it’s up to you to express how you feel to your partner and for you guys to work on those things. So you can feel loved again and remember why you fell in love with them.

- Marriage isn’t always 50/50 and you should be ok with it. Sometimes you may be doing more than your partner. Sometimes your partner may be doing more than you and it’s ok as long as you guys work together to get things done. No marriage is perfect. It takes work. It takes commitment and it takes two people to make it work.

What’s one thing that you have learned in your marriage?

It’s something about watching a man (the head of the house) put things in order. My husband had a hard life growing up in Jamaica, but that doesn’t mean our children need to go through the same.

Generational trauma symptoms are low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, insomnia, anger, and self-destructive behaviors. It’s important to break these cycles. Working through the hurts, pain, and healing from the past helps our children to not go through the same.

How are you breaking the cycle of generational trauma?
