Birthdays mean a lot to me especially when it’s my children’s birthdays. I knew that my youngest son’s birthday was approaching soon so I started planning. I asked him to tell me three things that he wanted for his birthday. He said he only wanted to go to Legoland. I couldn’t believe it was that easy, we already celebrated his birthday last year at Legoland. So, I made plans for us to celebrate his fourth birthday there again. When it was time for us to go, my son was so excited! I think my oldest son was more excited. I mean, who wouldn’t want to visit a place where we all feel like kids again!
So, you’re probably reading this and wondering, “What’s Legoland Florida?” It is one of Florida’s best interactive theme parks located in Winter Haven. Legoland is really the definition of Legos. The hotel has Legos everywhere. The rooms are made out of Legos. You will not walk two steps without seeing Legos. It’s a place everyone should visit at least once in their life.
I looked at the birthday boy. I saw a big smile on his face. He immediately got excited. As soon as we arrived, we checked in and went to dinner at the hotel. They have several different dining options. You can learn more here. The servers sang “happy birthday” and gave him a small cake. Seeing the smiles on his face made me smile.
On the first day at Legoland, we didn’t do much, except eat and check out the hotel. The next day the birthday boy woke up super early. He was ready to go to the theme park. So, we went to eat breakfast and then went back to the room to get ready. Everyone that stays at the hotel receives free breakfast. After breakfast, we got ready, grabbed our swimwear, and headed to the theme park. There is a water park as well. How exciting! The park opened at 10 am. You can learn more about the park and water park hours here. If you’re interested in only visiting the theme park you can check out their ticket prices here. We spent most of the day at the theme park. The boys went on several rides and the birthday boy had a great time. I highly recommend checking out this link to find out about the rides and all about the things to do at Legoland. We let them enjoy the rides and eat until they were ready to go to the water park.
The water park was the birthday boy’s favorite part. I think it’s because he got a chance to cool down while having more fun. We spent a few hours there. Legoland had so much to do by the time we arrived at the water park, but I wanted to rest. I can’t say the same thing about the boys. I mean you only turn every age once so I didn’t mind it. Watching them have fun shows me that I’m doing something right. It also shows me that I made the right decision by bringing them there. As time went by, I noticed my son started to get sleepy. I knew it was time for us to leave the water park. We decided to leave and head back to the hotel. We all were exhausted but in a good way. We took a shower and decided to relax at the hotel until it was time for dinner. We talked about how much fun we were having. Then we all remembered that we were leaving the next day. So, we tried to make the best of it and continue to create more memories.
The next day was time to check out. The boys immediately got sad. We checked out and said our goodbyes for now to Legoland. We were there for two nights but created so many memories. I don’t regret making this trip. Plus, the birthday boy said that this was his best birthday ever. (He said this last year when we brought him to Legoland for his birthday). I definitely recommend Legoland Florida to anyone with little children. They will have such a great time. It’s worth it especially if you’re located in Florida. Do not waste any time. Create these memories as much as possible. It’s worth it.
