“How to make your own tote bag using Cricut”

“This post has been sponsored by Cricut. All thoughts and opinions are my own.”

Have you wanted to have something that motivates you? Something that you wanted but didn’t have or couldn’t find in the stores? Well, I have and that’s why I decided to do something about it. I wanted something that I could look at that would remind me to keep going to pursue my dreams. Something that I could bring anywhere with me. That’s why I created my first tote motivational tote bag with my Cricut Explore 3 & EasyPress.

The project was completed in less than 30 minutes and was easy to make. I used the below items:

StandardGrip Machine Mat, 12″ x 12″ (2 ct) (Cricut also has a light grip and strong grip mat)

Cricut EasyPress™ 2, Mint – 9″ x 9″

Cricut EasyPress Mat, 12″ x 12″

Weeder

Tote Bag Blank

All items can be found on Cricut.com. What I love about this project is that it’s perfect for beginners and the instructions in Cricut Design Space are easy to follow. So, I first went to Cricut Design Space and selected the project that I wanted to create. Then, I put my glitter iron-on on my Cricut mat. It’s important that you mirror the project. Your screen should look like the below.

Once the project was finished cutting, Cricut Design space noticed me. After the project was finished, I removed it from my Cricut Explore 3 and then remove the design from my mat. Then I removed the negative pieces from the design. This step is called weeding. While I was weeding, I turned my EasyPress on. Once my EasyPress was ready, I put the design on the tote bag and pressed it with my EasyPress. I did for several times until the tote bag was ready. I usually use my own judgment to know when the tote bag is ready.

I love my tote bag because of several reasons. I’m able to use my tote bag for any occasion. I was able to make it in my house at my convenience and it came just the way I wanted it to look. Cricut makes it easy for everyone to be able to create projects right at home. You can create your own design using Cricut or you can use one of Cricut projects. Plus, you can have a lot of fun creating projects with Cricut.

If you’re afraid to start creating projects with Cricut, I want you to know that you can do it. Cricut makes it easy and fun to create projects through Design Space. They have a lot of projects that are perfect for beginners. They also have a great customer service team, that’s there to answer any questions you may have.  Also, you can always ask me if you’d like. I’ll help you as much as I can.  I hope this post motivates you to start creating projects using Cricut products. Once you start creating a project with Cricut, you will not stop. If you don’t believe me, try it and see for yourself.
