This Christmas will be Jasiel’s first Christmas. He does not know what is going on. He keeps seeing lights around the tree, presents, and new clothes. He loves to look at the lights and take the ornaments down. This is Josiah’s fourth Christmas, but it is his first Christmas having a little brother. This month means so much to me and I am creating so many lovable memories. I have cried so many tears of joy because I have been blessed to be a mother of two amazing boys. It is a blessing to be able to show them the true meaning of Christmas. Ok, let me get to the point before I get emotional again. I want to help you to create these memories and so much more for your baby’s first Christmas.
Buy Cute Christmas PJs/onesies
I believe I have lost count of how many Christmas PJs and onesies that I have purchased for my sons. I cannot help it though, especially because they look so cute in their matching PJs. I recommend purchasing several Christmas PJs for your baby’s first Christmas. You can create great memories and the PJs are always so cute and colorful. Baby’s love colors. I have noticed that when I put Jasiel in his Christmas onesies, he usually claps and smiles. That smile always melts my heart. One good thing about buying Christmas PJs/ onesies is that most stores sell them for a low price. I usually purchase my sons Christmas PJs from Carter’s and never spend more than $12 for two PJs for them.
Take photos
This is another way to create memories for your family. I usually go to the mall to take photos, but this year we are taking them at my house. Why waste money, when I can save money by taking them at my house. The photos in this post were all taken inside my house. I believe they came out great! What do you think? When the baby reaches the age to understand, you can show them their first Christmas photos and I am sure they will love them. Children grow so fast and I recommend that you cherish each day. Take as many pictures as possible. Jasiel is nine months old and trusts me, I have to take at least twenty pictures before I find the perfect one. Babies move a lot and want to get into everything. The more pictures you take the better chance you will capture some you love.
Don’t go over board
Babies usually do not want to do a lot for Christmas. Most of the day it is the parent that wants to do a lot. I’m I right or I’m I, right? It is best to not do too much because you do not want you, baby, to get frustrated. Sometimes doing less is best and depending on the age for your baby, doing less may be the best thing to do. Christmas is meant for happiness and that is what I recommend you to give your baby.
Find a good hiding place for the gifts
Babies love to move, crawl and children love presents. My personal experience with Jasiel is that he loves to play with the gifts. He hits them as if they are drums lol. I have moved his gifts out of his reach. I believe Josiah has asked me over hundred times if he can open the presents. He is excited, but he does get upset when I say no. I have decided to hide some of his gifts because I want to keep them as a surprise.
I hope you find these tips helpful!
